Interior & Exterior
Interior
Interior detailing involves cleaning your vehicle's interior cabin which is comprised of a variety of materials such as - synthetic carpet, upholstery, vinyl, leather, natural fibers, carbon fiber composites and plastics. These materials require different cleaning techniques and specific products to obtain the best results.
Having a clean interior is not only an essential part of preventive maintenance - it is a necessary safety measure; and promotes good health and psychological well-being.
A dirty cabin not only looks and smells bad, it can also create or contribute to operational problems. Filmy windows/mirrors can obstruct the driver's view; lose items or general 'clutter' can make noise, move around and distract the driver; and dirt can get into buttons and switches and cause them to fail.
Dirty air vents can spread dust and other allergens around the cabin. Pet dander, dust and pollen tend to collect in cloth and carpeting and can cause allergies and beathing difficulties for driver and passengers.
From a psychological perspective, studies have found that tidy spaces (e.g. your home, office, vehicle) improve your 'state of mind' and general well-being - in relieving stress, boosting performance, and helping you feel more energetic and happier.
EXTERIOR
Over time - dirt and pollutants will build up on your vehicle’s surface. Exterior detailing will keep your vehicle looking its best; increase the driving enjoyment for both you and your passengers; and help preserve your vehicle's resale value. In addition, the application of a surface wax/protectant at regular intervals, will provide a protective layer between your car’s paint and the elements. This will help prevent scratches/defects that affect the value and appeal of your vehicle.
Exterior detailing involves cleaning, and either restoring or conditioning the surface of your vehicle and visible exterior components (e.g. chrome trim, windows, wheels, tyres). A wide variety of detailing products and techniques are used, based on the vehicle's surface type and condition. Products include, but are not limited to: detergents and acid free degreasers (to break down dirt and soil); detail clay (to remove embedded contaminates); waxes, shines, and polishes (to improve reflectivity and shine); and a variety of applicators, brushes, and drying towels.
The condition of your vehicle reflects the type of person you are and enhances the overall driving enjoyment and safety of you and your passengers.
